Third Annual World Robotic Urology Symposium - 2008

Welcome to our third edition of the World Robotic Urology Symposium. This year, the Third Annual World Robotic Urology Symposium will be hosted by the Florida Hospital Global Robotics Institute and will be held at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in beautiful Orlando, Florida, March 17 – 19, 2008.

Course Director and Host - Dr. Vipul Patel

Your host is Dr. Vipul Patel, Director of the Global Robotics Institute at Florida Hospital and Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Patel has recently relocated to Orlando to lead our destination institute for robotic surgery.

This year's symposium is crafted to provide the ultimate educational experience for both basic and advanced robotic surgeons. We have assembled a faculty of the world's top robotic surgeons to provide an exceptional and unique learning experience.

New features include:

  • 10 LIVE SURGERIES featuring all aspects of robotic urology
  • Break out sessions- for small group one on one experience
  • Video sessions- Tricks of the trade
  • Scientific session with presentation of abstracts
  • Allied Health Track
  • Robotic Surgery for Hospital Executives
  • New topics: Advanced robotic techniques
  • Over 40 world class faculty

Our symposium is designed to expand the knowledge and improve the technique of surgeons just starting in or already performing robotic surgery. We place great emphasis on having the world's leading experts in this discipline share their knowledge and skills. The small-group breakout sessions will enable participants to discuss technical concepts and problems.

Course Fee

The course fee, which includes all course materials, continental breakfasts, lunches and Monday evening's reception, is $995 per person for physicians and hospital executives, and $450 per person for residents, fellows, PA's, ARNP's, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals.
