The Educational Mission


Our course will address the key technical concepts of robotic urologic surgery via live surgery, video, and lectures featuring our expert faculty. Our ultimate goal is to give our attendees the information necessary to improve their robotic surgery practices.

Live Surgery


Our symposium will feature 10 live robotic cases from his colleagues from all around the world. The procedures included will be prostatectomy, cystectomy, pyeloplasty, partial nephrectomy and pelvic floor reconstruction. Live surgical cases will also be moderated by our expert faculty. Questions from the audience will be encouraged.

Robotic Training Sessions


Florida Hospital Global Robotics Institute provides international robotic training through the Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement at Florida Hospital Celebration Health. Prior to and after our symposium we will offer full official daVinci® training courses at our facility. Availability is limited, so please sign up soon..

Continuing Education Credits


Both CME credits and CEU credits will be given at this symposium.  Physicians will earn 22 CME credits, and allied health professionals will earn 28 CEUs for completion of the three day symposium.

Small-Group Breakout Sessions: Panel Discussions


Attendees can participate in small-group sessions for discussing of the key technical issues of robotic surgery. Click here to view the available breakout sessions.

Scientific Session - Call for Abstracts


The 2008 WRUS will feature a new scientific session supported by the robotic urology working group. The scientific session with consists of poster, video and podium presentations. The topics should be related to robotic urology. Prizes will be awarded for best poster and best video. Abstracts should be submitted during online registration and be a maximum of 500 words. Videos should be a maximum of 8 minutes in duration and be DVD format. Videos should be mailed to:

Submissions will be accepted during online registration or by uploading directly through our website at http://wrus.globalroboticsinstitute.com/resource-upload. Deadline for submission of abstracts and videos is February 28th, 2008.

Course Fee


The course fee, which includes all course materials, continental breakfasts, lunches and Monday evening's reception, is $995 per person for physicians and hospital executives, and $450 per person for residents, fellows, PA's, ARNP's, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals.

Cancellation Policy


Cancellations received at least three weeks prior to the course will be refunded, less a $200 administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received less than three weeks prior to the course.
